DMCA Policy

Last updated: April 2026

Vidsera respects intellectual property rights. We comply fully with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and respond to all valid takedown notices within 24 hours.

How Vidsera Works

Vidsera is a URL-processing tool. We do not upload, store, host, or distribute any video or audio content. When a user submits a URL, the Service communicates with the third-party platform that hosts that content and facilitates a direct transfer to the user's device. Vidsera does not cache or retain any media files. Responsibility for lawful use rests entirely with the end user, as stated in our Terms of Service.

1. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been made accessible in a manner that constitutes infringement, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent. Your notice must include all of the following elements required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing — include the specific URL(s) on Vidsera that you believe facilitate infringement.
  4. Your contact information: full name, mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
Send notices to our designated DMCA agent:

[email protected]

Please write "DMCA Takedown Notice" in the subject line. We will acknowledge receipt and take action within 24 hours on business days.

Warning: Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Please consider carefully whether the material truly infringes before submitting a notice.

2. Counter-Notification

If you believe that content was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Your counter-notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the location (URL) where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which Vidsera may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the complainant.

Send counter-notifications to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notification".

3. Repeat Infringer Policy

Vidsera maintains a strict repeat infringer policy. In appropriate circumstances, we will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. This policy is applied consistently and is not subject to exceptions for users with paid subscriptions.

4. Limitations of Liability

Vidsera qualifies for the safe harbor provisions of the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512) as a service provider. We do not have actual knowledge of infringing activity, do not receive a financial benefit directly attributable to infringing activity, and act expeditiously to remove or disable access upon receiving proper notice.
